Tahja has been passionate about birth for as long as she can remember. She’s always felt like her calling was in birth work and after years of supporting labor intuitively she learned about doula training. Tahja has been formally trained as a doula through the Academy of Certified Birth Educators since 2018.

Tahja’s personal birth experience has been both in the hospital and home birth. She has experience with birth in the hospital, in home, unmedicated, medicated, and cesarean. Tahja believes in client centered care and encourages self-advocacy with the hope that more birthing people can experience the awe and empowerment that birth brings.

Originally from Florida, Tahja has been in Tennessee with her husband and 3 boys since 2017. She is a licensed esthetician specializing in product knowledge and establishing home care routines specific for each clients need. She dabbles in gardening, handmade skincare, and fertility awareness.
